30+ years of SF Bay Area punk history crammed into two profound, progressive, and occasionally pointless hours of non-stop anarchy, or somethin' like that? Kick things off with a visit from Eva Von Slut of Thee Merry Widows and Spike representing Swingin' Utters, both bands playing the 15th Annual Soapbox Derby pre-show this Saturday (11/31) at Slim's in SF. Then anarchy ruled supreme as the studio overflowed with historical figures from SF's punks past (and present) as we dedicated the rest of the show to Gimme Something Better the new punk tome by authors Jack Boulware and Silke Tudor that cover the entire history of SF Bay Area punk, guest included Penelope Houston of Avengers, Spike Slawson of Me 1st and the Gimme Gimmes, Blag Dahlia of The Dwarves and Walter Glaser oF MRR/942 Gilman - LIVE IT, BREATH IT, DOWNLOAD IT!!!!
