11.24.09: Public Image Ltd. - Metal Box 30th Anniversary Special w/Jah Wobble, Martin Atkins and Richard Dudanski

DOWNLOAD EXPIRED

This is an encore presentation of the Public Image Ltd 30th anniversary special I produced for Pirate Cat Radio's show The Longplaya that airs Sundays 10pm-midnight, 1 record/2 hours. It was hosted by myself and Alex from "Post Punk For Post Punks" and features interviews I recorded for this program from with Metal Box era PIL members Jah Wobble [bass], Martin Atkins [drums] and Richard Dudanski [drums]. The music played on this program is sourced from an original pressing of Metal Box [3 12" EPs in a 16mm film canister]. This show originally broadcast in March of 2009, since then John Lydon has resurrected PIL, sans Metal Box era members, to do a short UK tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of Metal Box. The shows are to feature songs from throughout PILs entire history with an emphasis on Metal Box. For more info on PIL see their new official site:
