03.24.09: Blag Dahlia, MDC and Embrace The Kill

Another classic here folks co-hosted by Blag Dahlia. We kicked things off by speaking with Jay of Embrace The Kill, Portland, Oregon's experimental crusty punk, thrash metal, reggae ska band. Then we check in with hardcore pioneer Dave Dictor of MDC. Both bands are currently touring the US, 57 shows in 56 days, check local listings. Yet another classic folks. this one features a, somewhat static filled, phone interview with Russell Blackwood of Thrillpeddlers, San Francisco's very own authentic Théâtre du Grand Guignol. Later we caught up with Slim Cessna of Slim Cessna's Auto Club and talked about their latest release Cipher and their upcoming European tour, again on a sweet static fill phone line - sorry 'bout that. Then finally we wrapped things up with a tribute to Johnithin Christ of Code of Honor who sadly pasted on March 5, 2009 due to complications from pneumonia.
